The Col·laboratori de Catalunya is a lab of labs, an initiative promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the i2CAT Foundation whose mission is to coordinate digital innovation in the different territories of Catalonia, as well as to promote the digital skills of its population to jointly solve systemic challenges based on a shared vision and focused on people . This network connects key actors of the quadruple helix (public administrations, knowledge centers, companies and citizens) to address social and digital challenges in a collaborative way.
CoboiLab has been part of the Collaboratorio Motor Group since the beginning, actively contributing to promoting and shaping the project from a territorial and innovative perspective.
Accelerate an inclusive and collaborative digital transition through a structure of laboratories distributed throughout the territory, promoting digital empowerment and citizen participation.
The project was born with the desire to consolidate a network of digital innovation laboratories that function in a coordinated, representative and transformative manner. The great challenge is to articulate a collaborative structure capable of addressing systemic challenges with shared and digitally innovative approaches through a methodology based on networking, participatory dynamics and the creation of territorial driving groups that ensure representativeness and co-creation.
The main objectives of this project are:
Connect and coordinate people and entities throughout the territory.
Promote collaborative digital social innovation.
Promote digital skills and citizen empowerment.
Align efforts with sectoral initiatives and European strategies.
Creation of a Motor Group formed by a group of key people from Col·laboratorio Catalunya who represent different entities of the quadruple helix and who work from their organizations in favor of social and digital innovation and for the benefit of the community. Coboi lab has been part of this Motor Group since the beginning.
