L’Olivera DigitALL is a collaborative project aimed at implementing strategic actions to promote sustainability, participatory governance and the reduction of the digital divide in urban environments. Coboi Lab has worked closely with the project’s technical team and its European partners (such as New European Bauhaus -NEB- and Ramboll Denmark, among others) to co-create key strategies, called “flagship actions”, to define the future of the center as a digital social innovation lab.
Coboi Lab’s main goal in this project is to share innovation knowledge and methodologies with the Olivera DigitALL team. Based on its history as a social innovation lab, Coboi Lab seeks to contribute to the definition and implementation of innovative actions that strengthen the project.
The specific objectives have been:
To co-define the project’s vision with the involved partners.
To assess the “flagship actions” proposed by Olivera DigitALL and identify future activities to be developed.
To outline a preliminary governance plan based on the New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles.
Coboi Lab applies collaborative conversations and design thinking methodologies to address the identified challenges. Participation in internal workshops with other European project partners, such as NEB and Ramboll Denmark, has been key to sharing experiences and effective methodologies.
Main actions developed:
The Olivera DigitALL project is structured around three main actions, know as Flagship Action Cards :
Flagship action 1: Implement a sustainability strategy for the building.
Flagship action 2: Launch a new governance model through the Olivera Community.
Flagship action 3: Develop innovative actions to reduce the digital divide.
The Olivera DigitALL project will continue to evolve until 2027, with Coboi Lab remaining actively involved. The next steps include:
Closely following the project’s development and providing support where needed.
Participating in the co-design of Olivera’s 25th anniversary, planned for early 2025.
Supporting Olivera in its ongoing process of self-definition as a digital social innovation lab.
