On July 9, 2025 , Coboi lab led a key session for the future of the Women and Innovation project: the 1st New Challenges Working Session , a collaborative meeting held in the BETA Space and designed to visualize new lines of work , consolidate the involved community and open new horizons for gender-related action and research.
This session was born from the feedback collected during the BETAfest 2025 , where the pilot project was presented and new emerging interests were detected among the participants. The day had the participation of agents from different fields:

Entrepreneurs residing in the BETA Space such as Francesc Balada and Iris Sevillano .

Technical team of the project : Marta Gimeno , Alba Fábregas and Anna Goixens from Coboi lab.

Local public administration , represented by Eva del Barco and Pilar Pérez (Equality), and Eva Ruiz (Digital Transformation) from Sant Boi City Council.

Lucía López , from the Baix Llobregat Regional Council and active member of the project’s driving group.
The activity was structured using collaborative methodologies , following Method 4.> 17. Active presentation dynamics and open co-ideation spaces were used that allowed:

The door was also opened to collaborate with existing projects such as Tecnòloga , an initiative to highlight and promote women in technology.
One of the great lessons learned from the day was the importance of creating spaces of active listening and trust , where all participants can contribute from their experience and knowledge. The transformative potential of connecting local initiatives with wider networks was also evident, and the strategic value of the BETA Space as an ecosystem of social and feminist innovation in the territory .
With this session, Coboi lab consolidates a new phase of the Women and Innovation project, based on the co-creation of challenges , the scalability of pilots and the creation of shared knowledge between citizens, institutions and social actors.
