{"id":12345,"date":"2025-07-09T13:50:02","date_gmt":"2025-07-09T11:50:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coboilab.cat\/women-and-innovation-1st-new-challenges-working-session\/"},"modified":"2025-07-09T13:50:02","modified_gmt":"2025-07-09T11:50:02","slug":"women-and-innovation-1st-new-challenges-working-session","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coboilab.cat\/en\/women-and-innovation-1st-new-challenges-working-session\/","title":{"rendered":"Women and innovation: 1st New Challenges Working Session"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"133\" data-end=\"504\">On <strong data-start=\"136\" data-end=\"159\">July 9, 2025<\/strong> , Coboi lab led a key session for the future of the <em data-start=\"224\" data-end=\"242\">Women and Innovation<\/em> project: the <strong data-start=\"247\" data-end=\"286\">1st New Challenges Working Session<\/strong> , a collaborative meeting held in the <strong data-start=\"329\" data-end=\"343\">BETA Space<\/strong> and designed to <strong data-start=\"361\" data-end=\"400\">visualize new lines of work<\/strong> , consolidate the involved community and open new horizons for gender-related action and research.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"763\">This session was born from the <strong data-start=\"536\" data-end=\"581\">feedback collected during the BETAfest 2025<\/strong> , where the pilot project was presented and new emerging interests were detected among the participants. The day had the participation of agents from different fields: <\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"765\" data-end=\"1205\">\n<li data-start=\"765\" data-end=\"855\">\n<p data-start=\"767\" data-end=\"855\"><strong data-start=\"767\" data-end=\"817\">Entrepreneurs residing in the BETA Space<\/strong> such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/francesc-balada-toh%C3%A0-58a671305\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Francesc Balada<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/iris-sevillano-rodr%C3%ADguez-39a17b1a3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iris Sevillano<\/a> .<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"856\" data-end=\"945\">\n<p data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"945\"><strong data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"887\">Technical team of the project<\/strong> : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mgimeno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marta Gimeno<\/a> , <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/alba-f%C3%A1bregas-parra-636324286\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alba F\u00e1bregas<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/annagoixens\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anna Goixens<\/a> from Coboi lab.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"946\" data-end=\"1101\">\n<p data-start=\"948\" data-end=\"1101\"><strong data-start=\"948\" data-end=\"979\">Local public administration<\/strong> , represented by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/eva-del-barco-collazos-3b3490246\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eva del Barco<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/pilar-perez-gomez-2979614a\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pilar P\u00e9rez<\/a> (Equality), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/eva-ruiz-miracle-bba77a8a\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eva Ruiz<\/a> (Digital Transformation) from Sant Boi City Council.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1102\" data-end=\"1205\">\n<p data-start=\"1104\" data-end=\"1205\"><a href=\"http:\/\/Luc%C3%ADa%20L%C3%B3pez%20Fern%C3%A1ndez\"><strong data-start=\"1104\" data-end=\"1119\">Luc\u00eda L\u00f3pez<\/strong><\/a> , from the Baix Llobregat Regional Council and active member of the project&#8217;s driving group.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1406\">The activity was structured using <strong data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1280\">collaborative methodologies<\/strong> , following <strong data-start=\"1293\" data-end=\"1308\">Method 4.&gt; 17.<\/strong> Active presentation dynamics and open co-ideation spaces were used that allowed: <\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"1408\" data-end=\"1822\">\n<li data-start=\"1408\" data-end=\"1471\">\n<p data-start=\"1411\" data-end=\"1471\"><strong data-start=\"1411\" data-end=\"1431\">Mutual knowledge<\/strong> and recognition of the profiles involved.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1628\">\n<p data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1544\"><strong data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1513\">Viewing the research group&#8217;s current lines of work<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1548\" data-end=\"1628\">\n<li data-start=\"1548\" data-end=\"1571\">\n<p data-start=\"1550\" data-end=\"1571\">Women and institutions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1600\">\n<p data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1600\">Women and sustainability<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1628\">\n<p data-start=\"1606\" data-end=\"1628\">Women, Health and Well-being<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1712\">\n<p data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1663\"><strong data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1660\">Emergence of new axes<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1667\" data-end=\"1712\">\n<li data-start=\"1667\" data-end=\"1681\">\n<p data-start=\"1669\" data-end=\"1681\">Rural Woman<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1685\" data-end=\"1712\">\n<p data-start=\"1687\" data-end=\"1712\">Women, Science and Innovation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1713\" data-end=\"1822\">\n<p data-start=\"1716\" data-end=\"1822\"><strong data-start=\"1716\" data-end=\"1743\">Activation of commitment<\/strong> by attendees to continue exploring and developing these areas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"1824\" data-end=\"1985\">The door was also opened to collaborate with existing projects such as <a href=\"https:\/\/latecnologa.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"1893\" data-end=\"1909\">Tecn\u00f2loga<\/strong><\/a> , an initiative to highlight and promote women in technology.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1987\" data-end=\"2397\">One of the great lessons learned from the day was the <strong data-start=\"2039\" data-end=\"2099\">importance of creating spaces of active listening and trust<\/strong> , where all participants can contribute from their experience and knowledge.
