EVARM brings together different strategic stakeholders at Coboi Lab to lead the transition towards hydrogen-powered mobility.

“How can we articulate a transition towards hydrogen-powered vehicles at both the local and the global level?” This is one of the challenges proposed by the Sant Boi-based company EVARM, specialized in the development and implementation of technologies to incorporate the use of hydrogen—a low-emission fuel—into all types of vehicles: cars, buses, trucks, and more.

The nature of EVARM’s project is closely linked to the cross-cutting strategy of Sant Boi City Council to promote projects aligned with the vision of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda, two initiatives driven by the United Nations that aim to respond to global challenges from the local level. For this reason, on October 22, the public social innovation laboratory of Sant Boi de Llobregat, Coboi lab, served as a hub for discussion, reflection and collaboration among local socioeconomic actors. EVARM’s initiative seeks to contribute to the energy transition, with a particular focus on the needs and resources of the participating stakeholders themselves.

This gathering brought together leading actors from different fields: ACCIÓ10, Enagás Emprende, IREC (Catalonia Institute for Energy Research), KIST (Korea Institute of Science and Technology), and the City Council of Sant Boi de Llobregat.
