#1CeS1FINDE was a 72-hour coexistence in a rural house in Sant Pere de Ribes ( Can Ramonet ), where 16 people outlined the first lines of the co-creation and co-design of a new type of public service in the Sant Boi Service Center (CeS) building: a gateway to citizens with initiative and a boost of intelligence and collective action, based on the idea that no economic activity will have a positive impact if it does not benefit people and their territory.
The CeS had to be a space and at the same time a way of being and doing; that inspired and attracted the commitment and transformative vocation of the citizens; that generated spaces for dialogue and collaboration between the Administration, the Citizens, the Business and the Academy. The CeS aspired to be a space that adapted to the needs of the people and groups that were part of it and, above all, an environment where to be, grow, innovate and prosper in an atmosphere of generative care, where the community itself could find its own relational and action mechanisms.
The materials that emerged from #1CeS1FINDE were part of the preliminary project and the main inspirational focus of what is now Coboi lab. These documents represented a declaration of intent and a first approximation of what could be a regional reference center in social innovation that worked from an open conception of health and care. A driving force to continue transforming, in a collaborative and integrative way, the territory, placing respect, responsibility, equal opportunities and the constant improvement of relationships, processes and services at the center.
