Sant Boi City Council is promoting an innovative project in collaboration with Coboi lab to improve the municipal billing process. An internal working group, formed by the departments of Intervention, Accounting and Treasury, has developed pilot products with the aim of optimizing communication with suppliers and internal staff.
For more than a year, this team has held regular meetings at Coboi lab, supported by its methodological guidance, to design graphic and audiovisual communication elements that facilitate the billing process, both at an informative and operational level.
To design and implement visual and graphic support materials to improve communication with Sant Boi City Council’s suppliers and reduce incidents during the billing process.
Sant Boi City Council manages an average of 11,000 invoices per year, and approximately 1,000 calls are received from suppliers (10%) with doubts about the billing process. This problem, shared across several departments, has highlighted the need for a clearer and more efficient process.
Project objectives
✔ Reduce supplier calls about billing by at least 10%.
✔ Provide clear and accessible tools for both suppliers and internal staff.
✔ Promote innovation in the City Council’s administrative processes.
The result of this project is the implementation of the billing process pilot.
The project has highlighted the importance of collaborative spaces like Coboi lab , which allow us to generate collective value and develop efficient solutions to shared problems.
